Every powder coated rear differential cover is prepped, coated and cured to order at The Lab in Orchard Park, NY, then shipped with the Ford gasket and hardware. Plan on roughly 14 days from order to ship.

- Genuine Ford Performance cast-iron rear differential cover: M-4033-BR (Bronco / Ranger) or M-4033-DR (Bronco Raptor)
- New cover gasket, supplied by Ford
- M-4033-BR hardware: 10 cover bolts and 2 cover studs (the studs carry your factory brake-line tube clips)
- M-4033-BR Ranger hardware: 2 bolts and 2 spacers, used only on the 2019–2024 Ranger
- M-4033-DR hardware: 11 cover bolts and 3 cover studs
- Reused from your truck: the factory brake-line tube clips. Gear oil is sold separately.
- Install torque per Ford: cover bolts 29.5 lb-ft (40 Nm) in a cross pattern; drain and fill plugs 22 lb-ft (30 Nm). Ford instruction sheets: M-4033-BR (PDF), M-4033-DR (PDF)

// Why a powder coated rear differential cover
The rear differential cover is one of the most visible parts under a Bronco or Ranger, and it takes the most abuse on the trail: rocks, mud, road salt and pressure washers. Powder coat is a baked-on finish that is far thicker and more chip- and corrosion-resistant than spray paint, so the cover keeps its color through Western New York winters and off-road use. Starting from a genuine Ford Performance cover means factory fit, the raised Ford oval and FORD PERFORMANCE lettering, and no guesswork on gaskets or bolts.

Letter fill: None (lettering coated in body color), Black or White fill on the Ford oval and FORD PERFORMANCE lettering. Black or White letter fill adds $20 on powder coated colors.
Powder coat is a very durable, corrosion-resistant finish. Colors are matched to Ford factory paint; slight variation is possible on some colors. Product images are color renders. Final finish may vary slightly.

Why 3 quarts for Bronco, Bronco Raptor and 2024+ Ranger? Their rear axles take 60–65 fl oz, right at or just over 2 quarts (64 fl oz). The third quart covers spillage, the extra a new cover can hold, and filling to the bottom of the fill-plug hole. The 2019–2023 Ranger takes 55 fl oz or less, so 2 quarts is enough.

Will this rear differential cover fit a Ranger Raptor?
No. M-4033-BR fits the 2019–2024 Ranger (non-Raptor) and 2021–2026 Bronco (non-Raptor). M-4033-DR fits the 2022–2026 Bronco Raptor only.
Is gear oil included?
No, gear oil is sold separately. Add Motorcraft XY-75W85-QL here, packed in the right quantity for your Bronco, Bronco Raptor or 2024 Ranger. 2019–2023 Rangers use 80W-90: Add Motorcraft XY-80W90-QL here.
Does Ford OEM Silver cost extra for letter fill?
No. Ford OEM Silver ships exactly as Ford makes it, with the factory black letter fill, at $220.
How close are the color matches?
Colors are matched to Ford factory paint codes. Slight variation is possible on some colors, and product images are color renders.
Can I get a color that isn't listed?
Yes. Choose Custom Color and enter the color you want in the order notes.

Why is RAPTOR program more expensive than the standard program?
The RAPTOR bead lock rings carry a nearly $3,000+ from Ford. Obviously, we don't want to have to charge a $3,000 core charge. Thanks to the community, we're able to source OEM wheels or OEM rings as take-offs to use as cores. The average cost for these is above our $500 core, however we trust the community to return rings to keep the program going. Thank you for your interest.
