Path // Sub first, then the stage

The factory-look upgrade path.

Factory radios push roughly five watts per channel, so new speakers on stock power barely move the needle. A subwoofer moves it — it lifts a factory system to the level of the branded OEM packages or beyond. Speakers earn their keep once an amplifier is in the plan. Your factory screen, controls, and CarPlay stay; only the sound moves.

01Subwoofer + amplifier Bare minimum · powered subs simplify entry
02Sub + tweeters + amp The strong OEM+ middle
03Full build + tuning Speakers, tweeters, sub, amp, optional head unit

Every vehicle is different, and we will work with you, your tastes, and goals to achieve the most optimal package possible.

The biggest audible change per dollar. A powered sub or sub-plus-amp adds the low end the factory system never had — nothing on the outside changes.

Add-on // Sound deadening
The unglamorous multiplier

Butyl and closed-cell layers inside doors and panels kill resonance and block road roar — the highest-leverage dollar in car audio because it improves every component you own. In Western New York it earns twice: winter tire drone and slush-spray noise drop noticeably, so the cabin is quieter even with the system off.

Process // How an audio install runs

Five steps, in this order, every time.

01
Listen-and-goals consult

We hear what you have and what bothers you about it.

02
Staged quote

Quoted per vehicle, in the order the upgrades should happen.

03
Installed Properly

Clean and OEM+ looking

04
Amplification & integration

Signal taken from the factory source, corrected, and driven properly.

05
Tuning and optimization

Tuned in your actual cabin before pickup.

Tuning // DSP, plainly

What about DSP tuning?

A DSP time-aligns each speaker so sound from every driver arrives at your ears together, then equalizes for the cabin's actual acoustics — glass, leather, and door cavities included. The before/after is not subtle: imaging snaps to the dash instead of the nearest door, and volume stops being the fix for clarity.

No matter what package you get, you can ensure the equipment is optimized for you and your vehicle

Subwoofers // By vehicle type

Real low end, zero lifestyle tax.

Custom and compact enclosures preserve cargo space. Bring the vehicle — the right answer depends on the sheet metal.

Trucks

Enclosures hide under the rear seats — the bed and cab stay exactly as they were.

SUVs

Corner-loaded or false-floor designs that keep the cargo area flat and usable.

Sedans

Compact sealed boxes or spare-tire-well designs.

FAQ // Car audio

Audio questions, answered straight.

Can you upgrade my sound without changing the factory radio? +

Yes — amplifiers take the factory signal, correct it, and drive better speakers, so you keep CarPlay, steering-wheel controls, and the stock look while the sound transforms.

Are door speakers alone worth it? +

Usually not on their own, and we'll say so: factory radios push roughly five watts per channel, so new speakers on stock power barely move the needle. The single biggest, most effective change is a subwoofer — it lifts a factory system to the level of the branded OEM packages (Bose, Burmester, B&W, Mark Levinson, Naim, Revel, B&O) or beyond. Speakers earn their keep once an amplifier is in the plan.

Will a subwoofer take my whole trunk? +

No — custom and compact enclosures preserve cargo space, and stealth builds under seats or in factory cubbies are our default for daily drivers. We can do larger units if you'd like. Please contact to schedule a consult.

Do I keep steering-wheel controls and CarPlay after an upgrade? +

Yes — retention interfaces are standard on our installs.

What does sound deadening actually do? +

It kills panel resonance and road roar so you hear music instead of buzz — the un-glamorous step that separates a system that measures well from one that actually sounds right. Bonus in the Buffalo region: a noticeably quieter winter cabin.

This stop is not entirely necessary cause modern car interiors are insulated and sound deadened fairly well already.

What is DSP tuning and do I need it? +

Digital signal processing time-aligns and EQs each speaker for your actual cabin. If you're spending on good equipment, tuning is the step that makes it worth it

Do you install customer-supplied equipment? +

Yes, please schedule a consultation to ensure we have everything required and can provide an accurate quote.
