Creative Marketing Manager
Role Purpose: Own The Lab's brand identity and creative output. This includes defining our visual language and aesthetic direction to producing the content that brings it to life. This is equal parts strategist and creator. You'll shape how The Lab shows up everywhere, produce scroll-stopping content daily, and design ad creatives that convert. We handle technical ad management internally; you bring the vision, the creative, and the brand instinct.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand strategy & identity. Define and own The Lab's visual language, tone, and positioning as a premium automotive customization studio. Develop and maintain brand guidelines that ensure consistency across social, website, E-commerce, print, and vehicle graphics. Lead creative direction for all marketing touchpoints — every piece of content should reinforce who we are.
- Content production. Shoot and edit short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) inclduing wraps, installs, reveals, builds. Capture high-quality photo and video for social, web, ads, and e-commerce. Produce longer-form project showcases, customer stories, and YouTube content. Maintain a consistent posting cadence across all platforms.
- Ad creative & performance. Design ad creatives across formats including static, video, carousel for Meta, Google, TikTok, and YouTube. Build creative variations for A/B testing and iterate based on results. Identify top organic content and adapt it into paid formats. Collaborate with external agencies, providing assets and creative direction. Understand and track ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion rate. You will connect creative decisions to business outcomes.
- E-commerce content. Shoot product photography and lifestyle content for our E-Commerce storefront and email campaigns.
- Community & partnerships. Manage daily social engagement including comments, DMs, community building. Engage with the local car scene, charities, other local businesses and national enthusiast communities. Coordinate influencer and creator partnerships that align with our brand. Support event content at car meets and hero build projects.
Essential Qualifications
- 2–5 years in content creation, brand marketing, or a hybrid creative role
- Strong portfolio of both organic content and ad creative — your work is your resume
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a cohesive brand identity
- Experience designing ad creatives that drive measurable results
- Working knowledge of performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion rate)
- Proficient in video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci, or similar) and photo editing (Lightroom, Photoshop)
- Deep understanding of platform trends, algorithms, and what makes content perform
- Self-directed and comfortable owning your pipeline without constant oversight
- On-site daily at our Buffalo, NY shop
- We are seeking creative autonomy. You will be given resources and support to accomplish company goals in a fast and dynamic setting.
Preferred Extras
- Interest in cars, trucks, or the automotive aftermarket
- Experience with Shopify, e-commerce marketing, or Klaviyo
- Agency or small business background where you could adapt to many roles
- Comfort with analytics tools (GA4, Meta Ads Manager reporting)
- Adobe Illustrator experience including Basic graphic design capabilities (layouts, typography, print-ready assets)
- Motion graphics or animation skills
- An interest in the capabilities and usage of AI

Customer Service Specialist
Role Purpose Be the first line of defense when clients have questions, concerns, or post‑purchase issues—own every interaction until the problem is solved. You’re not selling; you’re protecting the brand by eliminating friction and being as responsive and attentive to our clients as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management. Acknowledge all inbound calls, emails, and chat inquiries within minutes, route anything outside your scope, and keep the customer updated until closure by communicated proactively with Operations Team.
- Issue ownership. Document, investigate, and resolve product or service complaints, warranty claims, and scheduling conflicts.
- Process Management. Maintain clean CRM records, follow & develop SOP checklists
- Feedback loop. Spot recurring pain points, quantify them, and push actionable insights to operations and leadership.
Essential Qualifications
- 2+ years in a customer support role handling technical or service‑based inquiries
- Demonstrated mastery of ticketing/CRM platforms (Zendesk, HubSpot, or equivalent).
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
- Proven track record of boosting CSAT/NPS.
- Can juggle high‑volume queues without letting details slip.
Preferred Extras
- Basic understanding of automotive aftermarket services (wrap, PPF, tint, etc.) or willingness to learn quickly.
- Experience building or refining SOPs and knowledge‑base articles.

LAB Operations Team // Experienced Installer
Role Purpose Execute high-quality installations across our full service lineup including, but not limited to; window tint, paint protection film, vinyl wrap, ceramic coating, powder coating, and accessories. You're a versatile, detail-driven installer who takes pride in delivering flawless results across multiple disciplines, not just one.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-service installations. Ability to work across multiple service categories is essential — this is not a single-skill position. This is a team environment and you are expected to assist when needed.
You must be proficient in at least one of the following: - Window Tinting — Measure, cut, and apply window film to automotive glass with precision. Ensure clean edges, zero contamination, and proper adhesion across flat and curved surfaces. Knowledge of film types (ceramic, carbon, dyed) and state tint regulations.
- Paint Protection Film (PPF) — Install paint protection film on high-impact areas and full panels. Perform wet and dry applications, manage stretch and shrink techniques, and execute clean tuck-and-wrap edges. Understanding of self-healing films and proper post-heating standards. Experience with Colored Paint Protection Films is an additional plus.
- Vinyl Wrap — Measure, cut, and position vinyl on full vehicles, partial wraps, and accents. Apply film bubble- and crease-free across complex contours, recessed areas, and body lines. Comfortable with color-change, printed, and specialty films.
- Ceramic Coating — Perform paint correction, surface decontamination, and multi-stage ceramic coating application. Understand cure times, layering techniques, and proper environmental conditions for application.
- Accessories & 12V — Install aftermarket accessories including lighting, off-road components, suspension parts, and 12V electrical systems such as remote starters. Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and working with vehicle electrical systems.
- Surface preparation & vehicle handling. Clean, decontaminate, and prep vehicle surfaces. Perform partial disassembly and reassembly of trim, bumpers, mirrors, panels, and other components as required without damage.
- Quality control. Conduct in-process and post-install inspections on your own work. Identify and correct defects before vehicles leave the bay. Maintain the standard that every vehicle delivered looks flawless. Autonomy is expected
- Shop organization & maintenance. Keep your workspace, tools, and materials clean and organized. Manage film and material waste. Maintain equipment in working order.
- Team coordination. Communicate with the rest of the team on job status, scheduling, material needs, and any vehicle-specific issues. Help maintain flow and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
Essential Qualifications
- 1+ years hands-on experience in at least one of the following: window tinting, PPF, vinyl wrap, ceramic coating, or automotive accessory installation
- Willingness and ability to cross-train across multiple service categories
- Strong mechanical aptitude — comfortable with vehicle disassembly/reassembly, hand tools, and working around complex vehicle surfaces
- Attention to detail bordering on obsessive. We are targeting perfection, landing on excellence
- Reliable, punctual, deadline-driven work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in various positions, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and comfort moving customer vehicles
Preferred Extras
- Experience across multiple service categories (tint + wrap, PPF + ceramic, etc.)
- Knowledge of film types, adhesive behaviors, shrink/stretch techniques, and post-heating standards
- 12V electrical installation experience

LAB Operations Team // Entry Level Installer
Role Purpose
Learn and grow into a skilled installer. We're looking for someone who is hungry to learn, pays attention to details others miss, and takes pride in doing things the right way. You'll train hands-on across our full service lineup; window tint, paint protection film, vinyl wrap, ceramic coating, accessories with direct mentorship from experienced installers. At this level, you will be responsible for assisting the Experienced installers.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-service support. Assist experienced technicians with window tint, PPF, vinyl wrap, ceramic coating, and accessory installations. Learn proper techniques, material handling, and quality standards across all service categories. You will be expected to develop competency across multiple disciplines
- Surface preparation & vehicle handling. Clean, decontaminate, and prep vehicle surfaces for installation. Learn and perform partial disassembly and reassembly of trim, bumpers, mirrors, panels, and other components. Handle customer vehicles with care and respect at all times.
- Quality standards. Learn to identify defects, imperfections, and installation issues. Develop the eye for detail that separates good work from flawless work. We are targeting perfection, landing on excellence
- Shop organization & maintenance. Keep your workspace, tools, and materials clean and organized at all times. Manage film and material waste. Maintain equipment in working order. A clean shop is a productive shop.
- Team coordination. Communicate with the rest of the team on job status, material needs, and any vehicle-specific issues. Be proactive — ask questions, anticipate what's needed next, and contribute to production flow. This is a team environment and you are expected to assist when needed.
Essential Qualifications
- No prior installation experience required but willingness to learn is non-negotiable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude comfortable using hand tools and working with your hands
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent. Show up on time, every time.
- Coachable. You take feedback well and apply it immediately
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in various positions, and lift up to 50 lbs
