Why do European Wheels cost more?
European Wheels often have a Chromate-based Primer. This has a more intense stripping process. Companies will often bypass this by blasting the wheel with EXTREMELY aggressive media and will lead to a less-than-perfect and orange peeled finish
Can you powder coat over Chrome Wheels?
NO. Chrome must be removed by a plating facility first. Coating over chrome, while possible, leads to an inferior finish and short-term durability.
How long does it take to powder coat a set of wheels?
Average turn-around time is 48-72 hours or 2-3 days. European wheels often take 1 extra day.
